BSN medical, Inc. Orthopaedics Awarded TRICARE Regional Incentive Agreement
Charlotte, NC --- The Orthopaedics division of BSN medical, Inc. was recently awarded the TRICARE Regional Incentive Agreement for Regions 6, 7, and 8 (Western and Central United States).

The contract requires the 46 military bases in these regions to standardize their purchases of casting and splinting products through BSN medical. Products in this agreement include BSN medical’s complete line of synthetic cast tapes, plaster of Paris, cast paddings, and synthetic splinting systems. The three-year agreement takes effect on September 1, 2005. According to Carl Meyer, BSN medical’s Vice President of National Accounts and Distributor Relations, “This agreement will allow the TRICARE regions to reduce both product and operational expenses by leveraging the breadth and depth of our industry leading products to drive standardization in this category through Cardinal Health, their distributor of choice.”
